Chapter Recruitment

One of the most exciting parts of being in a sorority is recruiting for your chapter. The ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma love Recruitment. The most recent recruitment, Fall 2020, gave us 71 amazing new members! The Recruitment schedule consists of Ice Breakers, Philanthropy, Sisterhood, Preference, and Bid Day.

What is Recruitment Like?

Ice Breakers Day: You will be visiting all eight sororities between two days! These rounds are shorter, usually lasting 20 minutes each. It is all about getting to know YOU, with these rounds being so short, remember to be yourself and have fun with it!

Philanthropy: This day is filled with each chapter's information, including a short video. You get to see how the Zeta Upsilon and other sororities on campus give back and participate in their Philanthropies. These rounds last around 35 minutes!

Sisterhood: This day is one of our favorites here at Zeta Upsilon. On Sisterhood Day, you will see another short video of us showing what sisterhood is to us and why it is so fun. It is so easy for us to talk about our sisterhood because we are all so passionate about it! These rounds last a little bit longer, usually around 40 minutes. 

Preference Day: On this day, you will be making a final decision on the house that you prefer the most. This day gives us an opportunity to become a little more serious and show you just how much Kappa Kappa Gamma means to us. These events are 50 minutes long and if invited, you may attend up to two.
